Volkswagen unveils 2021 Atlas at Chicago Auto Show

The Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport is getting all the attention these days, but the traditional seven-passenger Atlas has been redesigned and is also starting to get noticed. Unveiled at the Chicago Auto Show a few weeks ago, the 2021 Volkswagen Atlas has several improvements over the 2019 model.

There is a new grille and a more rounded overall look, a new logo on the front grille and a new design for the 18-, 20- and 21-inch rims. The interior also receives several changes such as the addition of a new steering wheel with the new VW logo as well and an 8-inch central touchscreen available in more versions.

The biggest change however is under the hood. The 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder (235 horsepower) and 3.6-liter V6 (276 horsepower) engines are still available, but 4Motion all-wheel drive is now available with the entry-level engine. This was not the case before when the turbo was only offered in FWD versions.
